At the northern end of our destination, the magnificent Anneville beach lies to the south of Le Havre de Geffosses. This vast sandy beach is bordered by dunes. It’s a wild beach that’s not very busy. It’s perfect for lovers of calm and nature. Getting there: From Coutances or the coast, head towards Gouville-sur-Mer and then north towards Pirou. Before Le Havre, you can turn left onto the D532 towards the sea and campsites, or a little further left onto the railway road.

Facing the Pointe d’Agon and the harbor, the beach at Montmartin-sur-Mer is a very quiet and extensive beach. Made up of fine sand and dunes (which should be respected), the view is incredible! The vastness of the beach means you can relax in peace and quiet. Getting there: From Montmartin-sur-Mer, follow rue de la mer and then rue du Marais. You’ll arrive at a parking lot close to the beach, so all you have to do is sit back and enjoy!

In the south of our territory, between Hauteville-sur-Mer and Lingreville, discover the haven of peace that is Annoville beach. Bordered by a protected dune area, this beach is a jewel case of nature in its raw state. Fine sand, an incredible landscape and wild dunes, a beautiful setting for spending a moment face to face with nature. Getting here: From Coutances, take the Pont de la Roque road, then Montmartin-sur-Mer. Then head for Hauteville-sur-Mer and along the coast to Annoville.
#2 - Hauteville-sur-Mer
A family beach par excellence, the seaside resort of Hauteville-sur-Mer is also a must-see destination. Its long beaches are ideal for swimming, strolling, relaxing, fishing, water sports and more. Some of the resort’s beaches are supervised in summer for maximum safety with children. Getting there: From Coutances, head towards Pont de la Roque, cross Montmartin-sur-Mer and head towards Hauteville-sur-Mer.
#1 - Gouville-sur-Mer
The most emblematic and best-known beach in La Manche: Gouville-sur-Mer is a beach not to be missed, a true jewel of our coastline. Located to the north of our territory, this commune lives to the rhythm of the tides and the sea’s workers. The magnificent beach of Les Cabines offers breathtaking scenery. In the dunes, the small village of Sabines, with its colorful roofs, is the perfect spot for stunning photos. The beach, with its view of the lighthouse and oyster beds, is just as magnificent at low tide as it is at high. The fine sand is perfect for relaxing, making sandcastles with the kids, water sports, fishing and more. How to get there: From Coutances, follow signs for Gratot, cross the village, continue towards Saint Malo de La Lande and then Gouville-sur-Mer. Drive through Gouville-sur-Mer towards the beach. At the roundabout, head straight for the beach and you’ll arrive at the central beach. To reach the cabins beach, walk along the beach to the left.
