Our region, bordering the sea, undoubtedly lives according to the rhythm of the tides : from people working at sea, to products from the sea, to water sports, etc. These notions of high and low tide sometimes escape tourists because this phenomenon does not occur in every sea.
Our region is subject to some of the highest tides in Europe and it is an absolutely breathtaking sight in summer and winter, at low tide as well as at high tide.
